Middle Schooler Petitions for Curbside Pickup of Food Scraps

Hommocks Middle School student Noah Berman, is on a mission! He would like food scrap recycling to be a routine way of life that is picked up from the curbside, like other forms of recycling in our community. So far, more than 300 residents of Village of Larchmont and Town of Mamaroneck residents have signed Noah’s petition to support municipal curbside pickup of food scraps.  Noah’s goal is to get 500 signatures. Click on this link to sign Noah’s petition and learn more about Noah’s passion for environmental sustainability.
